After spending years trying different matcha tea options, analyzing color, texture and taste, our founder recognized that true ceremonial grade matcha was nearly impossible to find outside Japan.
We decided to build direct relationships with key suppliers that work with third-generation tea farmers in Uji, the historic heart of Japanese tea cultivation. These artisans have been perfecting their craft for over a century, using methods that honor both the land and the leaf.
